Shall we get this par-TEA+ Started?
Are you ready for ALL of the tea puns? PART DEUX?
I love to drink tea each day because it brings out my inner tranquili-TEA and creative-tea. But I shouldn’t leave this post Oolong because I’ll forget where I stared! Ok, tumbleweed, let’s start again. Two weeks, two cups of Vitamin tea, by snazzy rebranded company Tea+.
I’ve tried the tea before, as I was kindly sent some last August to try. The resulting blog post was glowing, and as I’d enjoyed the range so much last time I was looking forward to try it, especially as I’ve been feeling a little like a vampiric, nocturnal and suspiciously creaky version of myself this month. Yeah, got to love the old chronic illness thing!
I’m usually a coffee drinker but as with everything else I’ve learnt recently it’s not doing me any good whatsoever, so I do like the odd cup of tea, proper tea though. Vitamin tea was new to me until I was approached last year to write and insta a review. I was totally shocked at the difference it made, two weeks, drinking vitamin tea. And again I’m surprised at the way my body seems to perk up when I feed it two cups of Tea+ a day.
Tea+ is nowpart of the Vitabiotics brand. Because I’d been feeling a bit slumpy since Christmas, lethargic and full of chocolate, I decided to try the Energy and the Cleanse teas this time. This time of year it feels a lot like the months where you come off the chocolate train only to hop back on to sugar rush express come Easter.
I absolutely love the taste of both teas. Never been one for fruit teas I usually stick to green mint tea. I think knowing that both these teas contain my daily dose of some vital vitamins. Energy is a blend of Yerba Mate, Vitamin C and Ginseng. It tastes citrusy and yes, I admit I put a natural sweetener in with. Drinking it when I naturally slump at around 3:30pm has totally made a difference to my energy levels. The tea itself contains vitamins B6 and B12 which are lethargy combatting vits!
The cleanse tea tastes delicious, apple and blackcurrant. What’s not to like! It tastes delicious, and each pack contains 14 portions of tea bags. This one contains Selenium, Biotin and Vitamin C. After a couple of days of using this tea, I could definitely vouch for its detoxing properties. I’ll leave that one there 😉
I think I titled that bit incorrectly, it’s not about seeing results, but feeling results, and to be fair, I feel energised and more balanced in this two week trial. My skin looks better and my nails also feel stronger. I wasn’t expecting that to be a benefit to be fair but it is! One thing I’ve definitely noticed is that I’m in a little less pain daily. I don’t know if that is a result of warmer weather or drinking tea. But I won’t knock it!
I like this tea because it’s an easy way to take your vitamins. I dislike taking pills, but I rather enjoy supping me tea. Win win really! I’d highly recommend a trial because of the change I’ve felt in my energy levels more than anything!
